Website design and maintenance services

Whether you need a new website, or have one that needs some improvements, I can help.

I’m a freelance designer and developer who works with small-medium sized companies, charities and organisations to create bespoke websites.

  • 1. Getting started

I like to start our project together by finding out a little about you and what you’re looking to achieve with your website.

We can arrange a call to chat and answer any questions you might have.

It’s also a good opportunity for us to talk about your target audiences and the content and functionality that your website will need.

  • 2. Design & development

Once we have an understanding of the project and I receive your draft content it’s time to look at the site’s structure and how your users will navigate around it. Your content is the most important part of the site and the design complements it.

I will share with you wireframes, which are visual diagrams of how the site will be laid out, and a design palette, displaying the colours and typography that will be used.

Once we’ve agreed the layouts and design then I can begin developing the site. I will create a development version of your site so that we can track progress and add your content within WordPress content management system. It also allows me to test the site on different devices and browsers.

  • 3. Launch

Once we’ve agreed that everything is complete then we launch your site!

For a period of time after going live I will be around to fix any unexpected issues and to take you through how to edit and maintain your site.

If you would prefer me to do this for you then we can discuss a maintenance plan at this time.
